Mrs. Lazarus graduated from National University with her Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and Master’s in Education. She received her B.S. from California State University, Fullerton in Human Services in Elementary Education where she achieved the community engagement medal for serving over 350 unpaid hours of working with low-income, at-risk youth. She has worked as a Substitute Teacher where she taught in multiple K-6th grade classrooms, a Teacher’s Assistant for Olive Crest Academy where she provided positive behavior intervention strategies for at-risk, shelter, and foster youth, and as a Language Arts Teacher. She is excited to put the experience and education she has into her own classroom to make sure every student is academically, socially, and emotionally successful. This summer Mrs. Lazarus was able to tie the knot with her now husband. Her favorite things are spending time with her Old English Sheepdog Gus Gus, traveling, cooking, being around family, and listening to music.
